Welcome to the Counselling and Wellness Centre at MDABC


As a way to streamline the MDABC, a site of Lookout Housing & Health Society's Operations, we are moving our Psychiatric clinic into the office that currently operates as the Wellness and Counselling Center.

As of Wednesday January 3rd, our Psychiatric clinic will be operating at #480-789 West Pender street (at Howe street). Please note that there is no change to the phone number.

Please note that our Psychiatric clinic and Wellness and Counselling center will be closed for the holidays and preparation of the move from:

Friday December 22nd - Tuesday January 2nd

*please note however that there will be no interruption of rTMS treatments on December 22nd.

The Counselling and Wellness Centre at MDABC exists to inspire and support people who wish to cultivate a calm mind, a resilient spirit, and a renewed sense of wellbeing. No matter what is troubling you, our compassionate, highly-trained counselors and educators are here to work with you to find solutions and bring meaningful change to your own life. Please note that you do not need to have a diagnosis of a mood disorder or other mental illness to access our counselling services.

The Counselling and Wellness Centre at MDABC is currently accepting new clients; no doctor's referral is needed. All programs and counseling are offered at our 480 - 789 West Pender Street, Vancouver location.

Program and Service Options:


Counselling Services and Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) 

We offer individual, couples, and family counselling with a qualified, certified counsellor. 

Group Psychoeducational Programs (CBT Skills)

We offer structured group courses which are led by a certified therapist in which you will learn and practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) skills. CBT is recognized as one of the most effective treatments for the majority of people with depression and anxiety concerns. 

Wellness Groups and Workshops 

Wellness programs and events are offered as part of the MDABCs mission to offer accessible opportunities to individuals seeking to improve emotional and mental health.
