
PTSD and Unemployment
Volunteers Needed for a Research Study on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Unemployment
Purpose of Study
This study will help to identify return-to-work barriers and assistance needs for unemployed people with PTSD.
Requirements
If you are between the ages of 21 and 60, have a diagnosis of PTSD and have been unemployed for at least 6 months, you may be eligible to participate.
To determine your eligibility, you will be asked to complete a telephone interview.
If eligible, you will be asked to complete questionairres and to attend an interview at UBC. You may also be invited to participate in 2 focus group interviews at UBC. The total time that you will be asked to dedicate to this study will be approximately 9 hours over a 3 month period. A small honorarium will be provided to participants.
